Kendall Jenner BASHED For Underestimating Coronavirus; Accused Of Spreading Wrong Message, Facts
With the deadly coronavirus scare taking over the world by storm, celebrities are leaving no stone unturned in spreading awareness to minimise the panic and fear among people across. One such case is that of model Kendall Jenner, whose awareness turned out to be the reason behind her getting bashed. It all happened after the reality TV star took to her Instagram and called coronavirus’ infection as something ‘mild’. This didn’t go down well with a section of her followers, including Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni, who accused Kendall of underestimating the disease and misleading her followers.

In response to Kendall Jenner’s post, Chiara shared a lengthy video and bashed the model. She also opened up on the seriousness of coronavirus, which is rapidly spreading across, including her own country, Italy. Chiara said, “For people who have such a huge voice, like Kendall Jenner, please don’t underestimate the problem. This is like a serious problem. It’s in my country and it’s going to be in so many different countries right now, so please say what is right and raise awareness.”

She added, “Most days, especially from foreigners, so many bad comments and so many jokes about coronavirus saying, ‘It’s just a f*cking flu.’ And guys, I can assure you, it’s not just a f*cking flu. It might be for some people, but for so many others, it gives so many complications. If so many people get sick at the same time, like it’s happening in Italy, the hospital will collapse because we don’t have enough intensive care units and breathing machines to help everybody – even young people that have complications.”

Chiara was hailed for her powerful message by a lot of people, whereas Kendall was bashed and called insensitive.
