Kevin Spacey REFUTES Allegations Of Sexually Assaulting Anthony Rapp While He Was 14 Years Old
As per reports, disgraced actor Kevin Spacey, through his lawyer, has refuted claims of sexually harassing actor Anthony Rapp when he was 14.
Kevin Spacey, who rose to fame with his performances in films like The Usual Suspects, Swimming with the Sharks and L.A Confidential among others was accused of sexual harassment in the year 2017. A streak of men, including popular Hollywood personalities, came forward to open their alleged forgetful encounter with the veteran star. Among many others, actor Anthony Rapp, too, had accused Spacey of sexual misconduct when he was just 14 years old. Rapp alleged how in 2017, Spacey made s*xual advances towards him after inviting him to a party.
However, the latest court documents submitted by Kevin Spacey’s lawyer claim otherwise. As per femalefirst.co.uk, Kevin Spacey’s lawyer, in a response to the verified complaint, wrote, “Defendant admits he was in the audience for a production of ‘Precious Sons’ in approximately the late 1980s in which Plaintiff Rapp was a cast member. “Defendant admits he briefly met Plaintiff Rapp on a few occasions at most, but Defendant’s interactions with him were peripheral and limited… Defendant denies he invited Plaintiff Rapp to any party at his home.”
The statement added how Rapp wasn’t present at the party. “Defendant denies Plaintiff Rapp attended any alleged party at Defendant’s home… Defendant denies that the alleged incident or any other wrongdoing alleged by Plaintiff Rapp occurred.”
Further, Kevin went onto deny similar allegations made by another person, identified as C.D, who claimed that he was raped at the age of 14 after visiting the former’s home. Kevin also asked the court to remove C.D.’s anonymity.
