Khloe Kardashian and ex-husband Lamar Odom were married for 7 long years from 2009 to 2016 until the couple officially split. Since then, both the couple have moved on in their lives, while just recently the NBA legend announced his engagement to Sabrina Parr. The couple made their engagement public only after four months of dating each other and shared the news on social media. As the couple is set to tie the knot soon, recently, in an interview, Sabrina Parr reveals why she and Lamar Odom have stopped having sex before marriage and keeping out of it.
NBA legend Lamar Odom and fiancé Sabrina Parr have been gearing up for their marriage and are doing everything within their power to make sure it lasts. While speaking with Hollywood Life, Sabrina Parr revealed the main reason why the couple took the decision to refrain from being physically intimate until they finally tie the knot. Talking about the reason, Sabrina mentioned how this is the first time in Lamar’s entire life that he has been clean of drugs, marijuana, porn addiction, and sex addiction and shared that as Lamar wants to improve as a man, the pastor has suggested him to not have sex before marriage. Parr added that the pastor said that a great sacrifice to God would be to withhold from sex until they get married and mentioned that the NBA legend wants to respect the pastor’s opinion. Sabrina Parr further went on to mention how the pastor explained to Lamar how it honors your women when you don’t touch her, and wait and God repays you for that. She went on to continue how she was not going to force Odom either because it’s his own relationship with God and as he is very new in being saved from his addictions she does not want him to develop opinions based on what she is doing or not doing.
Lamar Odom’s fiancé went on to disclose how when it all came down to the NBA legend, he was the one to admit he wanted to wait to have sex until they were married and that is the reason why he wants to rush the marriage. Sabrina then mentioned how she thought abstaining from sex would be a struggle for him because he never had to do it before, Parr thinks Lamar is surprisingly doing fine.
Sabrina also shared how their intimacy with each other has been growing stronger as they are ding other things in the place of sex. Parr added how they are experiencing real intimacy when they are not having sex. Sabrina Parr finally concluded on sharing that her relationship with Lamar is really different and it’s just more than they are in love, click pictures, or go to the movies. She added that they just get very busy with each other and explained that it doesn’t even create an environment for sex.
Meanwhile, Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr are clearly making the efforts to maintain the spark in their relationship and it surely going to pay off one day. As the couple recently announced their engagement, they are yet to set a wedding date.
