Khloe Kardashian Says She Forgives Ex Tristan Thompson For Cheating On Her, ‘I Don’t Believe In Being A Victim’

Khloe Kardashian made the headlines a few months ago for her breakup with the professional basketball player Tristan Thompson. The news of their breakup came up in February after Tristan cheated on her. Now, Khloe has admitted that she has let go of any bitter feelings or grudges against her ex. In a recent interview on an episode of Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose, the reality star spoke at length about Tristan Thompson and said that she forgives him for cheating, and that everyone makes mistakes.
On Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose, Khloe Kardashian said that she doesn’t think Tristan Thompson is a bad person and believes that we all make mistakes. She said that it would only hurt her if she holds on to the anger and plays the victim role. She said, “I don’t believe in being a victim. I believe in ‘Okay this happened to me, let’s figure it out, let’s push through it,’ and maybe if I am open and honest about it, it can help other people feel like, ‘It’s okay, we are all human, we are all going to get through things.’” ALSO READ: Shocking! On the podcast, she further said, “But you can’t just condemn somebody for sinning differently than you did. I feel like we are all so quick to just exile people and it’s just so heavy to me.”
Khloe and Tristan share a one year old daughter True and she wants to keep him in their daughter’s life. “He never hurt True. Him and I have our own relationship and Tristan and True have theirs.” She went on to add that she would never come between their relationship.
Khloe Kardashian further said that she is not in a rush to date someone right now and is focusing on herself and her baby. “Something that I’m focusing on is just making sure I process everything. I think, especially in my family, we are good at moving on. We have very big, forgiving hearts, we just move on, but we don’t really talk about things that happened. I don’t really know if that’s healthy or not.”
