This time, she got called out by social media users, for attempting to appear black in the 6-second long video shared by her. Netizens accused Kim of ‘blackfishing’, reacting to the uneven tan video. Speaking of the video in question, the beauty mogul had shared it on January 14 on her official Twitter handle. Immediately, the clip was viewed over 5 million times. And, several social media users flooded the comments.
Reacting to Kim Kardashian’s post, one user pointed out that Kim has forgotten to tan her hand. The Twitterati pointed out how there are no similarities between Kim’s face makeup and hand colour tone. She had two different shades on her hand and face. The shade of Kardashian’s hand was much lighter to that of her face and did not seem to match the rest of her body. Fans then expressed their anger on Twitter. They lashed out at Kim, calling her out for trying to appear black, even when she’s not.
