KimYe aka Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are hitting headlines since the past few days after the rapper announced he is running for President in the upcoming presidential elections in the US. Days later, Kanye made a thread of (now deleted) tweets on his official Twitter handle revealing that Kim tried to lock him down with a doctor. The rapper also lashed out at mom-in-law Kris Jenner and claimed in one tweet, that he is trying to divorce Kim. According to a People.com report, a source spoke about KimYe and opened about the couple’s separation. The source revealed that divorce has been in the process for several weeks already between the pair. Another source explained, “[Divorce discussions] have been a long time coming. There has been enough communication, both in the past few days and in the weeks prior, to establish that both sides feel the marriage is over.” The source also added that KimYe were even attempting to find out the most amicable and loving co-parenting situation.
With Kanye gone a different path by announcing his presidential bid, a source said, “But now Kanye has, well, he has gone down a different path. Both in terms of deciding to announce his presidential bid, and also in terms of how he is choosing to express himself and the things he is choosing to say." The source further continued how the couple has work to do as parents and as spouses who want to end this phase of their relationship. The source added, "Kanye knows all of this, and everything that is happening right now is just like a horrible sideshow to what the real issues are."
As per the sources in the report, Kim and Kanye are already nearing the end of their marriage after Kanye’s recent stint. A source added, "First and foremost, he has some needs that have to be met, urgently.” The source continued that the couple then needs to move forward in terms of structuring a split that can be amicable and healthy for both of them and for their four children. Finally, another source mentioned that right now, for Kim Kardashian, the priority is her children.
