As Kim constantly shares pictures with her make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic, the man is well-known worldwide now. Mario Dedivanovic who is also one of Kim’s best friends opened up on stage about his sexuality and came out on being ‘gay.’
Mario Dedivanovic, Kim Kardashian’s make-up artist and friend who has a huge fan following of 7.1 million followers came out on the stage of an awards show. Recently, at the American Influencer Awards in Los Angeles, alongside Kim herself, Mario opened up about his sexuality after receiving the award in a long speech. On accepting the American Influencer Artist Achievement Award, from his best friend Kim, Mario told the crowd at the event that he wants to be honest with everyone and tell them something. He went on to share a memory from his mother’s 73rd birthday of how he walked out stressful after meetings at work and broke down crying. Mario shared how he told his mother about how he spent his childhood suppressing his thoughts, dreams, feelings, and creativity trying to be invisible so that no one would find out how he is feeling inside. Dedivanovic went on to share that he knew he was born different and was traumatized to be him and mentioned about being ashamed and living in fear. Mario later shared how his mother said that from this day forward he will never again live in shame or fear. Talking about his Albanian heritage, Mario said that little boys and girls around the world are growing up with pain and fear as he did and think of killing themselves every single day because their culture or their family judged them.
Finally coming out in open on stage, Mario ended his speech by saying how he stands on the stage for the first time in his life as a proud 37-year-old gay man and mentioned he feels that bright light that he had been dreaming of his whole life. Sharing his inner feeling with the audience at the event, Dedivanovic ended his speech by saying how he can now live the life that he deserves and mentioned how right there, at that moment, he could feel true happiness.
