Lady Gaga’s Legal Docs LEAKED After Law Firm Rejects Hackers' Ransom Demand - Reports

Popular pop singer Lady Gaga and her celebrity law firm are in trouble as her legal documents were stolen and the repercussions are still continuing. According to a report in Vulture, the celebrity law firm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks was hacked and the hackers reportedly took about 756 gigabytes of material belonging to Lady Gaga along with artists like Madonna, Drake, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Nicki Minaj and Lizzo. The documents consisted of legal papers, promo materials and confidentiality agreements which were stolen by the hackers, claimed Rolling Stone.
That’s not it, the hackers even demanded a $21 million ransom but the law firm declined to pay and as an outcome, the hackers leaked some files. “It seems that GRUBMANS doesn’t care about their clients or it was a mistake to hire a recovery company to help in the negotiations,” they wrote, claimed the same portal. Now, the hackers are demanding $42 million ransom but as per the reports in Rolling Stone, the firm has no intension in fulfilling their demands as a law firm spokesperson quoted saying, “We are working directly with federal law enforcement and continue to work around the clock with the world’s leading experts to address this situation.”
“The leaking of our clients’ documents is a despicable and illegal attack by these foreign cyberterrorists who make their living attempting to extort high-profile U.S. companies, government entities, entertainers, politicians, and others … We have been informed by the experts and the FBI that negotiating with or paying ransom to terrorists is a violation of federal criminal law. Even when enormous ransoms have been paid, the criminals often leak the documents anyway.”
The story doesn’t end here, the hackers are even threatening to leak info related to President of US Donald Trump, although a source says, Grubman never worked directly with the President, as reported by Rolling Stones.
