Liam Hemsworth Reveals He Found Out About His Breakup With Miley Cyrus On Social Media
While Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have both confirmed the news about their split now, according to Page Six, Liam was blindsided by her rep’s public statement and read it for the first time on social media
The recent news of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s split has come as a shock for their loyal fans. Liam and Miley, who had been on-and-off with their relationship for many years surprised their fans when they got hitched in a private ceremony in December 2018. The shocking news of their split came on August 10 as Miley’s rep released a statement saying, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.” Turns out, Liam Hemsworth had was shocked too and reportedly had no idea about the public statement.
According to Page Six, Liam Hemsworth found out about his split from Miley Cyrus on social media just like the rest of their fans! Apparently, he was blindsided by the statement released by Miley’s rep on August 10 and was in Australia at the time he found out. Sources close to Liam also told Page Six that while their relationship had been crumbling, he had been trying to save the marriage from falling apart and was not ready to announce their split publicly. Meanwhile, only hours after her statement, Miley Cyrus looked like she had moved on as she was snapped making out with Brody Jenner’s ex-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter in Italy.
Meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth addressed their split inpublic three days later on August 13 and took to Instagram and wrote, “Justa quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.” Liam also filed for a divorce in LA on August 21.
In other news, Miley Cyrus looks like she is madly in love with Kaitlynn Carter. The two were recently snapped walking on the streets of Los Angeles and the neighborhood couldn’t stop gushing!
