Mariah Carey’s Twitter Account Gets Hacked, Hacker Posts Offensive Content Targeting Eminem On New Year's Eve
Hollywood actor-singer Mariah Carey has become a victim of social media hackers. The account is claimed to be hacked by the Chuckling Squad and sending out 50 tweets containing sensitive content and offensive tweets towards singer Eminem
She took a freaking nap and someone hacked into her Twitter account and lead to a ruckus. Hollywood actor-singer Mariah Carey may have heaved a sigh of relief today, but the actress-singer was left upset with her Twitter account being hacked a day ago. After the said account was hacked, it sent out 50 tweets containing sensitive content, possibly nude content and also some offensive tweets targeting singer Eminem. The news was reported in Fox News on December 31, 2019.
As soon as the news broke, the concerned team locked the account. The same was confirmed with the publication USA Today by Twitter’s spokesperson. The concerned person said, “As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we locked the compromised account and are currently investigating the situation” As per further reports notorious squad named The Chuckling Squad has been picked for this hacking activity as well. In the past, the above-mentioned squad had hacked into the account of celebs such as Grace Mortez and a few more along with Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey. After the concerned team sorted out the mess, the actress tweeted, “I take a freaking nap and this happens?”
Though it is still unknown whether Carey’s mobile is safe or not. As in such hacking cases, the victim’s mobile number is also hacked, where a person’s mobile number is transferred to a new sim card without the owner’s knowledge, this is termed as Sim Jacking or Sim Swapping.
