Marvel's Eternals: Indians React To ‘Kissing Scene’ In A Desi Wedding, Twitter Goes ‘Haww’
Marvel's much-anticipated release Eternals has been running in the theatres. However, the film does not seem to be doing well as expected and ended up receiving mixed reviews from all quarters.

The star-studded cast of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani among others also could not manage to smooth over a particular scene and it is now bothering some desi fans on social media.

The film features a romance between the characters Ikaris and Sersi played by Richard Madden and Gemma Chan. In one scene, the characters are also shown to be getting married, and what’s more - the duo does it in a seemingly traditional Hindu wedding.

Fans are really confused that the duo has been shown to share a kiss after they are wed which doesn’t really happen with desi weddings. Well, this obviously did not go well with the Indian audience and Twitter has been flooded with petrified users.

The so-called ‘unsanskaari’ customs, seem to have genuinely baffled some of these internet users who are now questioning the scene.

Meanwhile, Twitter seems to be divided over the issue as a few also tried to point out what is the harm in a ‘cute’ scene like this because the characters are not Indians.

Eternals revolves around the titular group that has been living on earth for the past 7,000 years. Created by cosmic beings called Celestials, the Eternals have been sent to earth to safeguard the planet from their evil counterparts Deviants.
