Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey has acquired a huge fan base surrounding him, globally. The actor is known for his stellar performances in films like The Wedding Planner (2001), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Failure to Launch (2006), Fool's Gold (2008), and others and his fans love watching him on the big screen. As Matthew McConaughey is releasing his memoir titled Greenlights anytime soon, according to a report, in his new memoir he has opened up about his family history. McConaughey reveals how his father passed away while having sex.
In an excerpt that has featured in his People cover story, Matthew McConaughey revealed the reason behind his father, James Donald’s demise. As reported by Pagesix.com, McConaughey disclosed that his father, James, died while having sex with his mother Kay. The Oscar-winner who is gearing up for the release of his new memoir said, “I got a call from my Mom. ‘Your dad died.’ My knees buckled. I couldn’t believe it. He was my dad. Nobody or nothing could kill him. Except mom. He’d always told me and my brothers, ‘Boys, when I go, I’m gonna be makin’ love to your mother’. And that’s what happened. He had a heart attack when he climaxed.”
The Fool’s Gold actor recalled the time his dad passed away and shared that it was his mother who informed him. Talking about the incident, McConaughey said that he couldn’t believe his mother and mentioned his knees buckled. He then shared what his father told his two brothers and him about the manner of his passing away. He finally concluded by saying that his father suffered a heart attack when he climaxed.
Meanwhile, McConaughey’s father James Donald died in 1992. Talking about the relationship his parents had, Matthew said, “They were, at times, violent.” He added, “As I say in the book, that is how they communicated. They were divorced twice, married three times, I mean, yeah, it was like the Pacific Ocean in a storm.” The actor mentioned that his parents had an on-again, off-again relationship, and married each other three separate times.
