Known as the King of Pop, Michael Jackson passed on June 25, 2009, and since then there have been speculations that the singer has not died, but is living another life. Several conspiracy theories claim that Michael Jackson is living his life as an impersonator of his former self. Now, after years of Jackson’s death, a Michael Jackson lookalike who has a verified Instagram account took to his social media to share a video for all his fans. After the video, fans now urge lookalike Sergio Cortes to prove he is not the legendary pop singer himself.
In the world today, while it may be hard to believe that there are lookalikes and doppelgangers, Michael Jackson has a man who looks just like him, and even fans love him. Our very own MJ’s lookalike, Sergio Cortes took to his Instagram to share video informing fans about his latest gig in Pattaya, Thailand on December 23. In the video, Cortes told fans, “Hello to all Michael Jackson fans, come and watch me perform at Pattaya on December 23.” He then went on to share, “I love you guys and I’ll see you there, I am Sergio Cortes – I’ll see you soon,” expressing his love for all his fans. While fans got all excited with Sergio Cortes’ video, many took to his comments section to pour out their love. Many fans flooded the comments claiming that the pop singer was alive and mentioned that this was the proof they have been waiting for years now, after watching Sergio Cortes on social media. One fan commented, “I love you, Michael, my Michael has come back. We love you,” while another wrote, “I am convinced you are Michael Jackson himself.” After watching Sergio Cortes speaking, one fan also said, “Wow [this] is Michael Jackson,” being amused by the video.
Meanwhile, as many fans claimed that Sergio Cortes is Michael Jackson’s lookalike, the man clearly looks like the pop singer, but there are something’s that make it clear he is not Michael Jackson. If Cortes was Jackson himself, he would be much older, but he is not apparently and also has a Spanish accent, not so similar to Michael Jackson.
