Oscars 2020 is right around the corner and the ceremony will take place on February 9 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The Oscars are one of the most prestigious awards globally so just receiving a nomination at the Academy Awards is a huge deal. But before the ceremony takes place, the nominees are set to receive a swag bag full of merchandise and the contents of the goodie bag rumoured to be worth more than a whopping Rs 1 crore, will blow your mind.
According to a report in Forbes, this year’s swag bag is worth 1,48,000 dollars! Converted into Indian rupees, that’s more than a crore! Fox News reports that the gifts in the package include six luxury and spa trips, 25,000 dollars’ worth of cosmetic procedures, bulletproof doors, a 24-karat gold-finished vape pen, a cannabis-infused chocolate tasting for eight, booze, and more. The report in Fox News states, “This year’s bonanza includes a 12-day trip on the Scenic Eclipse luxury yacht; accommodations at the Faro Cumplida lighthouse in Spain, the Auberge resorts in Los Cabos, Mexico, and the Waikiki Beachcomber in Honolulu; plus a wellness weekend at the 3d Wellness Retreat in Malibu, Calif. The list of celebrities who will receive this ‘Everyone Wins’ gift bag reportedly includes Scarlett Johansson, Antonio Banderas, Cynthia Erivo, Adam Driver, Charlize Theron, Joaquin Phoenix, Renee Zellweger, Tom Hanks, Laura Dern, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Kathy Bates, Saoirse Ronan and Leonardo DiCaprio.
