Earlier, due to the Covid 19 pandemic the award show got postponed for the second time in a row from its regular slot i.e February and early start. Now, the award show will take place on March 27, exactly after 5 days on Sunday night.
The 94th Oscar award will be announced in Los Angeles which will honour the most deserving and best movies of the year along with the nominees who will get rewarded for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

The prestigious night is set to take place on March 27 but as per India time, it will be March 28 on Monday. According to the IST, the Oscars 2022 will air from 5:30 am onwards.

The 94th Academy Awards will be broadcasted on Star World, Star Movies, and Star Movies HD on 28th March from 6:30 am. The social media pages of the academy award will be doing the live updates.
Oscars 2022: Host
This time the responsibility to present the awards has been given to not just one but to three hosts. The 94th Academy awards will be presented by Wanda Skyes, Amy Schumer, and actress Regina Hall.
For the unversed out of 276 nominations, Surya’s Jai Bhim and Mohanlal’s Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, were shortlisted but sadly they did not make up into the nominations category. However, the Indian documentary film ‘ Writing with Fire’ has been shortlisted for the 2022 Oscars.
