Paris Jackson Follows In Her Legendary Father Michael Jackson’s Footsteps; Releases Debut Solo Single ‘Let Down’

Michael Jackson was one of the most iconic performers of all time and looks like his only daughter Paris Jackson is following in her father’s footsteps. Paris Jackson has now debuted on the scene with her latest solo single titled ‘Let Down’. The 22-year-old singer unveiled the track Let Down on Friday, and the song is from her upcoming debut album Wilted, which is all set to release on November 13.
Let Down has been written by Paris herself and produced by Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull. In a statement talking about the song’s release, Paris said that she feels so many emotions- she’s excited, nervous, grateful and happy at the same time. She further talked about the freedom to create the song, and said, “The freedom to create, not being told what to sing and how to sing it, what to write; it’s awesome. It’s a gift, it’s a blessing.”
While sharing about Let Down on social media a few days ago, Paris Jackson wrote, “f*cking stoked to announce that my first single as a solo artist, let down, will be released this friday. so thankful to my close friends, family, and work colleagues for always supporting me and encouraging me to do what makes me the happiest, and that is making music.”
Michael Jackson had shielded his three kids from the media and the public eye. After his death in 2009, Paris, her brothers Prince and Bigi Jackson lived with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.
