Brad Pitt has been making headlines for multiple reasons. Right from reuniting with former wife Angelina Jolie to dating rumoured girlfriend Alia Shawkat. Talk about actor’s new girlfriend, the duo has often been snapped hanging out together and grabbing headlines with their brewing closeness. Pitt and Alia have however not come out in the open about their new bond, but a few reports state that they are ‘just friends.’ But for the first time, Brad Pitt has reacted on his link-up rumours with Alia.
Commenting on the same, he told New York Times, “I don’t go out of my way to avoid it; I just don’t seek it out. I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years, and none of it’s true — I just flashed on something, but maybe it doesn’t mean anything.” (ALSO READ: Angelina Jolie Disapproves Of Brad Pitt’s Rumoured Girlfriend Alia Shawkat? He further added, “When I first started my career, I was in USA Today. I was pretty pleased with myself. Two days after it came out, I go over to a friend-of-a-friend’s house. In the kitchen I look down and there’s a litter box for the cat — and there’s my piece in USA Today with a cat turd on top of it. That pretty much defines it.” (ALSO READ: Brad Pitt’s Rumoured GF Alia Shawkat Flies Out Of LA; Travels Solo After Being Spotted With Brad Several Times)
While Brad and Alia get snapped at different places with each other, a source close to the actor told the leading website People that he’s “very much about keeping friends as friends. He just loves surrounding himself with good friends.”
