Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Join Broadway's Chicken And Biscuits As Producers; Actress Says ‘It's A Dream Come True’
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are thrilled to co-produce Douglas Lyons' Broadway comedy, Chicken And Biscuits.
Broadway is returning to New York after a long time, and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are thrilled to be a part of it. The couple has announced that they are all set to co-produce Douglas Lyons' Broadway comedy, Chicken And Biscuits. Priyanka took to Instagram and shared her excitement over joining the producing team and called the experience a dream come true.' She also said she feels extremely proud to be part of it and that she just can’t wait for the audience to experience this “heart-warming ensemble.”
Taking to Instagram, PeeCee shared a couple of behind-the-scenes photos from the show, where Nick can be seen posing with the cast members and sharing some laughs with the cast and crew.
Priyanka wrote, “I’ve been an avid admirer of Broadway for as long as I can remember, and the magic that you can only get from a live production has excited me all my life. To be part of the “back of house” of a production like this is a dream come true, and the cherry on top for me is being able to do this with my husband. @nickjonas has been heavily involved in Broadway since he was 7 (it kick started his career), so following his lead on this has been an amazing experience.”
She added, “We could not be more proud to join the producing team for Broadway’s newest show, Chicken & Biscuits. @chickenandbiscuitsbway! It is a feel-good comedy that will feed your soul! According to a report in Deadline, Nick Jonas visited the team at the theatre on September 26. He revealed to the website that Broadway will always remain close to his heart as theatre launched his career. Talking about Chicken And Biscuits, Nick said the comedy is about love, laughter, and family and added that the play has energy, style, and a different vibe which is unique in live theatre.
