Currently, with the lockdown imposed, we literally cannot order takeout or head out to some fine dining restaurant to enjoy some mouth-watering meals. During the lockdown, many of us have been trying our best in the kitchen experimenting on new recipes, some succeeding, while some failing. As cooking at home is the last resort currently, actor Robert Pattinson tried his hand at cooking pasta, but turned out to be the one from the ‘failing in cooking’ category. With all of us having some kitchen disasters during our first cook, the Batman actor goes up a notch higher and lands up blowing off his oven.

According to a report in GQ magazine, Robert Pattinson revealed he was trying to create a new kind of pasta, and described it as a one which you can hold in your hand, calling it Piccolini Cuscino which means ‘little pillow.’ Pattinson shared that the idea of investing the pasta dish when he was busy wondering if pasta had the same kind of fast-food credentials as burgers and pizzas and mentioned that he was busy trying to figure out how to make some money in the area of the pasta making market.

Talking about Robert’s pasta dish, it comprises of ‘giant, filthy dust-covered box of cornflakes’, presliced cheese, just any sauce according to the actor, sugar, penne, aluminum foil, and water.  As GQ writer Zach Baron was present during Robert’s experiment, he shared that Pattinson managed to first burn himself while taking the pasta out of the microwave, and later lit up his oven gloves accidentally on fire, with everything finally leading to the death of his oven. A witness to the incident, Zach shared, "Proudly he is walking back toward the counter that his phone is on when, behind him, a lightning bolt erupts from the oven/microwave. Pattinson ducks like someone outside has opened fire. He’s giggling and crouching as the oven throws off stray flickers of light and sound.  


Meanwhile, finally, Robert Pattinson’s oven went all dark and blew out with a bang, as per the report.
