Matt Reeves' forthcoming superhero flick ‘The Batman’ starring Robert Pattinson is one of the much anticipated films of 2022 and its trailer has been making a lot of noise for all the obvious reasons.
Meanwhile, Pattinson has taken extra efforts to convenience the fans with his portrayal as the caped crusader. Recently, the Twilight alum was seen showing off his abs while going shirtless in a scene from the upcoming film.
The new trailer, which was released on December 27, previews Robert’s turn as the Dark Knight.
The latest trailer was released at the DC FanDome event on Saturday and it gives an in-depth overview of the about the film's story, Pattinson's Batman, and a few more interesting details about the villains in the film featuring - Paul Dano as Edward Nashton aka Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin - and many other major characters.
In addition, The Batman also stars Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred and Colin Farrell as.
According to the trailer, Batman faces his biggest enemy yet in the Riddler, who publicly taunts the hero. Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle/Catwoman comes into the fold and tries to solve Riddler’s cryptic riddles.
One of Riddler’s latest riddles is all about the Wayne family.
The Batman will be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.
