Selena Gomez Announces ‘Boyfriend’ Release Date, Trolls Spam Her With Screenshots Of Her LIKES On Justin Bieber’s Pics
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were once the most adored couples. However, their relationship is a thing of the past as Justin is happily married to Hailey Baldwin Bieber, while Selena has been busy with her music. Just recently, one of her fan pages shared a screengrab of Selena liking Justin’s shirtless picture. Not just that, it also showed an old picture of Selena and Justin which was liked by Selena. While she later unliked it, her fans concluded that her account had been hacked.

Now, days later, Selena Gomez took to her social media to announce the release date of the deluxe version of her album rare, which also features the song ‘Boyfriend.’ Selena tweeted, “The deluxe version of Rare, featuring ‘Boyfriend,’ ‘She’ and ‘Souvenir,’ is out April 9th. You can presave it now and learn more about how to donate to the PLUS1 COVID-19 Fund in at the link in my bio.” However, a quick scroll down her comments section, shows several users spamming her ost with screenshots of her likes on Justin Bieber’s pics, and also a message that reads, “My twitter has been hacked. I DID not post the things that were tweeted or send the messages that were sent. The things posted were mean and wrong.”

Coming back to Selena Gomez’s announcement, she also shared a note with the post that read, “Many of you know how excited I’ve been to release a song called ‘Boyfriend.’ It’s a lighthearted song about falling down and getting back up time and time again in love, but also knowing you don’t need anyone other than yourself to be happy. We wrote it long before our current crisis, but in the context of today, I want to be clear that a boyfriend is nowhere near the top of my list of priorities. Just like the rest of the world, I’m praying for safety, unity and recovery during this pandemic.”
