It was in the year 2016 that former couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard after the latter accused him of physical and verbal abuse. She also claimed that he was under a heavy influence of drugs. Well, it has been more than four years now but the estranged couple still makes it to the headlines due to some of the other accusations on each other. As per Depp’s statements that he made during the deposition, Amber Heard had allegedly sliced off his finger and it erupted like Vesuvius.
In a video obtained by Daily Mail, Johnny Depp could be heard saying, “I was trying to get the finger back, you know. And then deal with the insanity of having had my finger chopped off by this woman that I was married to.” He joked that he’d named his injured finger ‘Little Richard’. The actor revealed that this incident reportedly happened a month after they got hitched, while he was shooting for the fifth part of Pirates of the Caribbean. Depp also revealed covering it by pretending that his finger was caught in a door.
He added, “She smashed, she threw a vodka bottle at me and my hand was resting on the marble of the bar like that. The first bottle went whoosh just past my ear. And the second one was a larger bottle and she threw it from about this distance and it smashed into the bar, which, this finger who I now call little Richard, was, the tip of the finger was severed and all the bone in here was completely shattered.”
In response to his accusations, Amber claimed that Depp only did those injuries to himself. “I cut the top of my middle finger off… What should I do!?? Except, of course, go to a hospital…. I’m so embarrassed for jumping into anything with her… F**K THE WORLD!!! JD,” wrote Depp in a text, claims Amber.
