Sin City's Bruce Willis Diagnosed With Brain Disorder Aphasia, Announces Retirement From Acting -DEETS INSIDE
Hollywood actor Bruce Willis who has delivered some big hits in his career has decided to step away from acting. His decision came out after being diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that enables a person from reading, speaking, and talking. The disorder occurs after a stroke or a head injury. In his career, Bruce has delivered several big hits that include Die Hard, Sin City, A Dame For Kill, Hostage, Cop Out, Glass, and many more.



On Wednesday, a joint statement was released by his family about the actor’s condition that he has been diagnosed with brain disorder aphasia. Bruce Willis' daughter, Rumer, shared a statement on her Instagram account and captioned it, "To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him. This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support."



The statement further reads that the family is going through this tough phase as a strong unit and wanted his fans to know about Bruce’s condition. Further, the statement read “As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that. Love, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn."

For the unversed, the Hollywood actor is a recipient of two Emmy awards which he bagged for  ‘Moonlighting’ and ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’
