Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner has given birth to her first child with husband Joe Jonas, and the two are over the moon! Reps for the couple confirmed the same with E! News in a statement on Monday (July 27) that read, “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby.” Sophie Turner, who popularly played the role of Sansa Stark on Game Of Thrones, and Joe Jonas, had tied the knot in May 2019.
TMZ.com revealed that the baby girl has been named Willa and she was born in a hospital in Los Angeles on July 22. Joe and Sophie kept a low key profile, and while reports about Sophie’s pregnancy had surfaced back in February, and since then, Sophie was photographed many times, neither Joe nor Sophie had spoken publicly about the pregnancy. Meanwhile, a source told Entertainment Tonight, “The couple is already obsessed and can't stop gloating about their new addition. The couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends."
It was back in May that they were papped and Sophie debuted her baby bump in public for the first time.
