Spider-Man No Way Home: Man Who Leaked Viral Picture Featuring Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield And Tom Holland In One Frame Reveals He 'Got A Call From The Studio'
Spider-Man No Way Home is currently in the news for multiple reasons. Fans are eager to know whether Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are a part of the film. Recently, a picture of the two posing with the current Spider-Man, Tom Holland took the internet by storm. And now, John Campea who shared the viral picture revealed what happened after he posted them online.

He made it clear that he shared the picture under the assumption that they were fake. But when he got a phone call that led him to believe that the pictures might be real, he immediately deleted them.

In the video posted on his YouTube Channel, John Campea said that he was sent the pictures by an anonymous source, and shared them on Twitter for a lark - just as he had done previously, with a different, 'clearly photoshopped' image of the three actors. He further added that he'd been contacted by someone from the studio, and had refused to reveal the identity of his 'source'. He also revealed that he had a conversation with a 'studio-rep'.  The rep told him, "I assume you thought these things were fake, because you put your watermark on it. I don't expect that you would try to steal the Mona Lisa and leave your business card behind for the cops to find you."

He said that he hates leaks, because he doesn't like 'intentionally' ruining surprises for fans, but also because 'they can damage your relationship with studios'.

He continued, "The reality is, if these pictures end up being real and I don't know if they, to be honest - but if they do end up being real, and if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield do end up being in the movie, and they don't show Tobey and Andrew in a trailer soon, I'm going to feel terrible about this."

Recently, Tom shut down all the rumours from his end about Tobey and Andrew starring in the movie. He told Total Film, "People don't believe me when I say that they are not coming back. But people are going to have to believe me at some point."

Spider-Man No Way Home, also starring Zendaya, Jacob Batalon and more will be released in theatres on December 17.
