Tarzan Star Ron Ely’s Wife Valerie Lundeen Ely Stabbed To Death By Their Own Son

Ron Ely is popularly known for essaying the lead character in the 1960s television series Tarzan. The actor was a rage back then, however, little did he (and us) know that the actor will face this tragic situation. According to the Indian Express report, the former Tarzan star’s wife Valerie Lundeen Ely was brutally murdered by their own son in their California home on Tuesday evening, said the police. It is also reported that owing to a family dispute, his 30-year-old son, Cameron Ely killed his mother who was stabbed to death.
The report also suggests that Santa Barbara County sheriff released a statement which said that after the deputies were summoned to the home, which is Home Ranch in California, they found Valerie dead with multiple stab wounds. The report further reported that their son Cameron posed a threat to four deputies who in response fired at the suspect, fatally wounding him. However, another report from TMZ said they have obtained a recording of a conversation between two people. In the call which was made shortly after Valerie's death, Cameron allegedly told police that his dad had tried to attack his mum and he had defended her.
Ron and Valerie were married for 35 years since they tied the knot in 1984. Valerie Lundeen Ely was a former Miss Florida, she represented Miami at the 1981 pageant. She also went on to compete at Miss USA. The duo has two daughters- Kristen and Kaitland and one son Cameron Ely.
