Taylor Swift is all set to perform at American Music Awards 2019 and her fans are pretty psyched to see their favourite singer sizzling on the stage. Though their fans are desperately waiting for that day, Taylor Swift completely shook us when she announced that she has been banned from performing her old songs at the upcoming American Music Awards 2019, leaving many disappointed. Due to her ongoing feud with tyrannical music managers, Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta who hold the rights to her album, she was asked to not sing her own songs.
Since the letter was published, Taylor Swift's fans started trending #IStandWithTaylor on social media. However, Big Machine Label Group recently shared a statement on the same, hinting that she will be performing at AMA 2019 and she is free to sing her songs. The statement on their social media read, “The Big Machine Label Group informed Dick Clark Productions today that they have agreed to grant all the licenses of their artists' performances to stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms.”

Any final agreement on this matter needs to be made directly with Taylor Swift's management team. We have no further comment."
On November 15, Taylor Swift posted a lengthy note on social media as she wrote, “Guys - It's been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honouring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year's ceremony. I've been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I'm not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I'm allowed to next year.”
Well, after Dick Clark Productions statement, it has got us thinking if Taylor is going to perform at American Music Awards 2019 at all.
