Taylor Swift and boyfriend Joe Alywn reportedly kicked off 2020 together in the Maldives. According to 27-year-old British singer Crane, the couple was his audience on New Year’s Eve where he performed on the beach at a luxury water villa resort. The singer shared a photo of himself but the caption got all the attention when he mentioned that he sang a song for Taylor and Joe on New Year's Eve in the Maldives.
While sharing the picture on his handle, he wrote, “So I can now finally reveal who I sung to on New Year's Eve in the Maldives, probably the most notable Pop Star at the moment, the one and only @taylorswift and @joe.alwyn. They were both so friendly and kind to me when I performed, they even gave me a standing ovation and complimented on my voice. Revealing more details about the magical night, he spoke to HollywoodLife and was quoted by the portal, saying, “I was hired by an agency to perform at the resort on New Year’s Eve, and Taylor and Joe were staying at the resort as guests. It was by chance that I met them and sung to them. I was singing on the beach and the guests would arrive by boat as I was singing. He also told the portal that Taylor, Joe and her friends were there for the last 40 minutes and also praised the singer saying that he has an amazing, powerful voice while giving him a standing ovation on his last song, ‘Let Me Try Again’ by Frank Sinatra. Talking more about the couple, Crane revealed that they were holding hands, laughing, chatting, sometimes looked at each other lovingly and appeared very much in love.
