After spending months at home during the lockdown, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is getting ready and set for her upcoming projects. In the meantime, the actress is also gearing up on the big release of her memoir titled Unfinished. PeeCee was last seen in the film The Sky Is Pink and has other projects in the pipeline too including Netflix’s White Tiger. Now, as per the latest report, she has been roped in for yet another project, which is touted to be a romantic drama. Reportedly, Priyanka is all set to star alongside actor Sam Heughan and Music icon Celine Dion in a movie.
According to a report in Entertainment Weekly, Priyanka Chopra is set to star in a romantic drama tentatively titled Text For You. The report stated that the film is a remake of the German movie titled SMS Fur Dich, which is based on a novel by author Sofie Cramer. As per the report, the plot of the romantic drama revolves around a woman who sends romantic text messages to an old phone number of her fiancé, whom she tragically lost. While she is not aware that the number is reassigned to a man who lives across the town, this man is also said to be suffering a somewhat similar heartbreak.
Later, the two meet and feel a connection, but are unable to leave their pasts behind. Here comes Celine Dion’s entry in the movie. Dion’s music will be seen giving the lovebirds some courage to take a chance at love again. While the news of PeeCee’s next collaboration with Celine Dion made it to the headlines, the actress also posted a picture of a news piece on her Instagram timeline. She expressed her excitement to kick-start the project and said it’s an honour for her to work with such incredible people.

Meanwhile, the Text For You will be directed by Jim Strouse, with re-writes from Lauryn Kahn. The film will be produced by Thunder Road’s Esther Hornstein, Erica Lee, and Basil Iwanyk. Speaking of the German film, it was among the highest-grossing back in 2016. On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has films The White Tiger, Matrix 4, We Can Be Heroes and Citadel, apart from Text For You in her kitty.
