Two days before his death, Jerry Demara had shared a video on his Facebook, that he had recorded from the hospital, in which he informed fans that he was in the hospital after taking the vitamin injections. He said that by mistake, he had injected himself with vitamins on three different days.
“I put the last injection the day before yesterday but on the same side,” Daily Mail quoted Demara saying in his Facebook video. However, he did not mention what kind of vitamins he used. He also said that he was in incredible pain and that he had it for six hours.
“I am in incredible pain. I have had it for six hours. You can see how I am,” he said in Spanish and looked visibly unwell in the video. He said he was feeling a sense of helplessness. He appeared in the popular musical reality show The Voice Mexico aka La Voz in 2012.
