After Robert Pattinson and Christopher Nolan’s arrival in Mumbai for the shoot of their upcoming film Tenet, looks like Thor star Chris Hemsworth is the next Hollywood star to be arriving in Mumbai! According to a recent report in Mid-Day, Chris Hemsworth will arrive along with the team of Netflix film Dhaka for a week-long schedule in India. The actor is expected to reach Mumbai on October 20 for his shoot and this news is sure to create a lot of excitement for fans of the Thor star!
A source told Mid-Day that the unit of Netflix film Dhaka has planned a week-long schedule across Mumbai and Ahmedabad and that the cast of the film, including Indian and Hollywood actors, have been called upon to allot their dates. The source also revealed that Chris Hemsworth will touchdown Mumbai by October 20 and that the ensemble cast has been asked to dedicate the last two weeks of October to this project. “The team will shoot at the places they had covered the first time around, including Dharavi and Byculla in the city, and a few pockets of Ahmedabad. They may also have a brief two-day stint in Indonesia. If all goes as planned, it will be a wrap before October 30,” the source added.
Even earlier, Chris Hemsworth had been in India shooting for Dhaka and had also shared a post on Instagram captioning it as, “Beyond thankful for the kindness and generosity that the people of India have extended to us while making our little film here.”
Netflix film Dhaka is produced by The Russo Brothers and also stars Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee and Pankaj Tripathi.
