Aviators, brace yourselves because Tom Cruise AKA Captain Maverick is all set to take you for yet another thrilling journey!  Recently, the makers of Top Gun: Maverick dropped a new trailer featuring Tom Cruise and his fresh batch and we want to watch the film, already! The clip sees Tom getting back into his iconic role and cockpit after a whopping thirty years, as Top Gun: Maverick is a sequel to his 1986 film, Top Gun. And it has everything you expected!

As for the trailer, it begins with Maverick meets his fresh batch of students for Top Gun graduates. He is introduced as “one of the finest pilots the program has ever produced" and we aren’t denying. The actor seems to have impressed in all the aspects including the jaw-dropping stunts, his swag, punched-packed dialogues and a super-stylish appearance. The trailer also takes fans a trip down the memory lane by displaying some throwback references to the original film, be it the camaraderie shared between the pilots or the volleyball sequence. In a nutshell, get ready to experience another exciting ride!

Top Gun: Maverick co-stars Jennifer Connelly, Val Kilmer, Danny Ramirez, Jon Hamm and Ed Harris among others. The film has been helmed by Joseph Kosinski, who last directed Tom Cruise in Oblivion.
