Wonder Woman 1984 trailer recently took the internet by storm as die-hard fans of Gal Gadot could not stop raving about her performance. Within a few hours, the trailer of this DC Superhero film managed to clock millions of views with everyone praising Gal's daring stunts left, right and centre. While all the stunts and action in the trailer appears to be very appealing, Gal Gadot had a very tough time shooting for the same. In a recent interview, she has revealed that she suffered spine injuries as he did most of the stunts on her own.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Gal Gadot was quoted saying, "The physical moments, because it is hard, and I have found myself with many different spine injuries because shooting this movie, for real. But at the same time, it’s worth it. And watching the movie now a few times, it’s totally, totally worth it.” In the trailer, we see Gal slipping into her Wonder Woman costume and fighting the evil like a total badass. Squashing guns with her bare hands, jumping in the air and fighting the goons with her lightning powers - Gal doesn't appear to be any less than a male superhero. The director of the film, Patty Jenkins, too was quite appreciative of Gal as she quoted, "She’s one of my very best, closest friends and it’s hard for me to say no to her,” continued Gadot. “Also, she has a great will. I’ll find myself trying to negotiate my stance with Patty and she’d be like, ‘yeah, yeah yeah, I see what you’re saying, I know, but don’t you think it’s going to be it’s so much better if…’ Those were the moments where I was like, ‘argh…!"
Wonder Woman this time will be fighting an evil force called Cheetah played by Kristen Wiig. Chris Pine makes his comeback as Wonder Woman's love interest, Steve Trevor. The film is slated to release on January 5, 2020.
