All the Gal Gadot fans, rejoice! Soon after the release of WW84, the makers have now announced Wonder Woman 3 – all the deets below.
After a really long wait, Wonder Woman 84 – the sequel to DC’s Wonder Woman –made it to the theatres. The superwoman outing, starring Gal Gadot in the lead has opened to a great response; well, at a time when very few films have made it to the big screens in the wake of an ongoing pandemic. But, hey, here’s adding to all the Gal Gadot fans’ excitement, especially those who love her as Princess Diana aka Wonder Woman. The makers have now announced its third part. Yes, you read that right!
Wonder Woman 3 will make the return of Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins. As per the studio, it is expected the long-planned trilogy and will release theatrically worldwide. In his statement to Variety, Warner Bros. Chief Toby Emmerich shared the exciting news saying, “As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of Wonder Woman 1984, we are excited to be able to continue her story with our real life Wonder Women — Gal and Patty — who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy." They are yet to give away any further detail in regards to the film’s plot. Well, this surely comes as a big sigh of relief for fans, especially after filmmaker Jenkins, in an interview with PTI, had asserted how it’s ‘questionable’ whether Wonder Woman will be ever made after Warner Bros’ decision to simultaneously release the film in theatres as well as digitally.
