Bigg Boss season 17 winner and comedian Munawar Faruqui took the nation by storm after he won the controversial reality show, earlier this year. He recently hosted the show Mushaira Roast on Netflix, where he welcomed the actresses of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Dressed to the nines, the actresses divided into two teams ‘Sonakshi Ki Saheliyan’ and ‘Manisha Ki Mallikaein,’ took turns roasting each other. In the midst of it all, Munawar was seen insistently flirting with Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjeeda Shaikh, who were sitting on opposing teams.

Taking her chance after he made fun of her nail brand, Sonakshi Sinha called him out for flirting with her co-stars while hinting that he two-timed his ex-girlfriends Ayesha Khan and Nazila Sitaishi. The incident was exposed during Bigg Boss season 17, leaving his admirers baffled. During the show, many accusations were made by the women against the comedian. Throughout the show, Munawar was doing his best to compliment Aditi and Sanjeeda simultaneously. As the actresses took turns roasting each other through shayaris, Sanjeeda looked at the Bigg Boss 17 winner and told him, “This is for your beloved Aditi.” Floored at the statement, Munawar asked her to repeat it. Sonakshi was quick to pique, “Kyu baar baar do do ladkiyo ke bich mei fass jaate ho tum?” hinting at the revelations made on Salman Khan’s show. Munawar cheekily requested her not to go there. Talking about Munawar Faruqui, the comedian took home the trophy of Bigg Boss season 17, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, and a brand-new Hyundai Creta. Earlier he had also won Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp season 1.
