Akali Dal MLA Who Accused Bollywood Actors Of Consuming Drugs At KJo’s Party, Now Raises His Voice Against Sacred Games 2 For Disrespecting Sikh Community
Ever since Sacred Games 2 released on August 15, it opened to a mixed reaction from its viewers and has now landed in a bit of a soup. Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who was earlier making the headlines for accusing Bollywood actors of being in a drugged state at Karan Johar’s house party, has now raised objections to a scene that was shown in Sacred Games 2 starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Sirsa has slammed the online streaming platform and director Anurag Kashyap for a certain scene that shows Saif Ali Khan's character throwing away his kada.

Delhi MLA Manjinder Sirsa has now demanded that the scene be removed from the show immediately as it is disrespectful to the Sikh community. He mentions that a kada is the pride of Sikhs and not an ordinary ornament. He also urged the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar to take stern action against Netflix and the makers of the show as it disrespects not just the Sikh community, but also Hindu religion also. He wrote, “I wonder why Bollywood continues to disrespect our religious symbols! Anurag Kashyap deliberatly puts this scene in #SacredGamesS2 where Saif Ali Khan throws his Kada in sea! A KADA is not an ordinary ornament. It’s the pride of Sikhs & a blessing of Guru Sahib @NetflixIndia @ANI.” Check out the series of Tweets here:
