Akshay Oberoi EXCLUSIVE On Inside Edge Season 3, His New Show Illegal And How He’s Spending The Quarantine Period
Akshay Oberoi opens up on his upcoming projects and also travels back in time, when he began his journey as a 12-year-old and moved from theatre to films. Watch the exclusive video
It may come as a surprise to few but Akshay Oberoi has completed 18 years of his career in acting. While speaking to our host Manish, he says, “I was 12 when I started out. I was a theatre actor. It was after my meeting with Makarand Deshpande that things changed for good.”
The actor who was last seen in Vidyut Jammwal starrer Junglee has an interesting line-up of projects in his kitty. He will be seen in the 3rd season of the popular web show Inside Edge and while talking about it, he says, “I enter as the captain of the team. We shot it last year. I had a lot of fun. Hum jiss scale pe shoot karte hai na Inside Edge, I was blown away. DY Patil mein humne shoot kiya for 10 days. And I wasn't a cricket player, so I got 2-3 months of practicing post which I finally picked it up. Also, I had a great coach to guide me along.”
While that was about his show Inside Edge 3, we also grabbed the opportunity to talk about his upcoming show Illegal and providing some tidbits on it, he said, "It is a show coming on Voot. It also stars Piyush Mishra and Neha Sharma. And it is directed by Hum Tum And Them director, Sahir Raza. Illegal is a totally different show from Hum Tum Aur Them. I play a lawyer in it. For the first time, you will get to see the glamorous side of law.”
And finally, he also spoke about how he has been spending his time in this lockdown period.
