Akshaye Khanna Is Back And He Looks Different As He Poses With Abhilash Chaudhary For Stage Of Siege- Temple Attack
Actor Akshaye Khanna is now gearing up for his digital debut, Stage of Siege: Temple Attack that will be streaming on Zee 5. The film is grabbing attention - one, to see Khanna is a never-seen-before avatar and second, for its gripping plot. As the release date is nearing, we recently came across a picture of Akshaye who was seen sharing a light moment with onscreen ‘terrorist’ Abhilash Chaudhary.

Akshaye is returning to the screens after a long gap and in the still he looks quite different from what we last saw him on screen. It seems the actor has shed a lot of weight. Meanwhile, Chaudhary, previously seen in Ram Gopal Verma's D Company and films like Paltan, The Zoya Factor, Dabangg 3, Commando 3 now will be seen in Stage of Siege playing the parallel negative lead.

In the film, Akshaye will be essaying the role of a special task force officer, who is in charge of the mission. Thrilled about donning ‘the uniform’, Akshaye told DNA, “To be able to wear ‘the uniform’ without taking the oath of the ultimate sacrifice — this is a privilege that only an actor is afforded. My only focus during the making has been not to disrespect that privilege.” While director Ken Ghosh who helmed the hugely popular and successful show Abhay 2 said they have tried their best to give a fitting tribute to Indian heroes.

He said, “State of Siege: Temple Attack is not just a film, it is a tribute to the NSG commandos of India who are always ready to risk their lives to protect us. As a son of a naval officer, I have grown up in awe of our armed forces. In, State of Siege: Temple Attack, we have tried our best to give a fitting tribute to our heroes and I cannot wait for the release of the film on ZEE5.”
