Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Angrezi Medium which released on March 13 was very well received by the critics as well as the audience. In fact, the film also had a good box-office collection where it collected Rs. 9 crores in its first weekend before the lockdown. However, after the Coronavirus lockdown, all the public places including gyms, malls, schools, colleges, theatres and many more were shut as the government has announced a complete lockdown.

Considering the sensitive time, the director Homi Adajania announced that the film will be re-released when it will be safe to do so. His shared a post on his Insta story which read, “At midnight all theaters will be close across India till authorities give us further notice. We will re-release #AngreziMedium when it is safe to do so. Till then stay safe and be kind to each other. #johaisohai.” After announcing Angrezi Medium to be re-released, the makers have now decided to make this film on the digital space. It looks like the film will not be released again at the theatres as the film will now be releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar as World Digital Premiere. Are you excited to watch the film?

Confirming the same, Irrfan Khan took to his Twitter handle and shared a tweet on the same which read, “Hop on to the dreamy roller-coaster ride with this father-daughter duo as we bring to you the World Digital Premiere of #AngreziMedium only on @DisneyplusHSVIP! Angrezi Medium also stars Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi, Kiku Sharda and Deepak Dobriyal. The film was released on March 13, 2020.
