Just recently, The Rock took to his social media to share the news of Emily Blunt and him starring in the film Ball and Chain.
On Instagram, Dwayne Johnson shared a snippet of a newspaper clipping featuring Emily Blunt, Oscar-winning writer Emily V. Gordon and him. Along with the picture, The Rock shared the news in the caption, that he is teaming up with actress Emily Blunt and writer Emily V. Gordon for an interesting superhero film titled Ball and Chain. The actor mentioned that the project has become quite the unique and dynamic recipe to cook up and shared he is excited to team up with the very talented women.
Talking about the film, Dwayne Johnson shared that Emily Blunt and he will play the role of a married couple on the verge of getting divorced, blessed with superpowers later, which only work when they are together. The movie is an adaptation of the 90s comic by Scott Lobdell of the same name. Ball and Chain is a superhero movie and the rights to the film have been acquired by Netflix.
