Bhram, Zee5’s Psychological Thriller Series, Out For Streaming Today
With the earlier release date getting pushed, much-awaited Zee5 original show hits screens today, right in time for the Diwali Weekend. Here’s why you should watch the show
Another feather in Zee5’s cap, Bhram, is out today. Ever since the partnership between streaming platforms Zee5 and ALTBalaji was announced, it seems that they have also doubled their efforts in terms of getting us good content. After the success of ALTBalaji’s recent show Mission Over Mars (M.O.M.), this time Zee5’s latest show has audiences excited.
You see, the psychological thriller space is one not really explored by too many content creators. With such amazing international shows to look up to, the mark of a good psychological thriller lies in the unpredictable writing and the execution in terms of production quality. Bhram seems to check both these boxes, by the looks of it. Zee5’s earlier original film, Barot House, starring Amit Sadh is also a commendable effort in the genre.
Starring Kalki Koechlin in a lead role, an actor who is known for her credible choices, Bhram’s trailer already has us spooked. Kalki plays a writer who is plagued by post traumatic stress disorder. She seems to be haunted by a woman, who could either be a figment of her imagination or be a supernatural element. The show is directed by Sangeeth Sivan and also stars Bhumika Chawla, Sanjay Suri and others. It has been shot in Shimla which adds to the mystery element.
Recently, Kalki has also announced her pregnancy and her fans can’t wait to see her latest work. Bhram’s release was earlier postponed, but this time, we are going to be able to watch it today itself!
Bhram is now streaming on Zee5.
