Biswa Kalyan Rath’s New Special, Sushi, Out On Prime Video Soon
Biswa Kalyan Rath is one of India’s favourite stand-up comedians. His fresh voice, inimitable style and relatable observations on life make him a fan favourite. Hailing from Odisha, Biswa is an engineering student from IIT Kharagpur who shot to fame after his movie review series, Pretentious Movie Reviews became immensely popular. Pretentious Movie Reviews also features another famous stand-up comic, Kanan Gill.

After the success of Pretentious Movie Reviews, Amazon Prime Video produced Biswa’s first special, Biswa Mast Aadmi which continues to be one of the most popular and well-received Indian stand-up specials. After that, Biswa also went on to star in Netflix original film, Brahman Naman and co-wrote Prime Video’s Laakhon Mein Ek about life in an engineering college. His most recent stint was as a judge on Comicstaan 2, Prime Video’s comedy reality show.

Biswa’s latest stand-up special is called Sushi and in his iconic style looks like a complete laugh riot. Biswa jokes about the state of Indian roads which are incomplete and always dug up and mentions how two people can never walk side by side on a footpath. He then goes on to give his take on corruption and bribes.

Sushi has already made waves all over social media and people can’t get enough of the trailer. Biswa’s unique voice and personality is what makes him so special and like we can see from the glimpses of Sushi, this will be yet another hilarious take on just about everything.

Sushi will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on November 25th, the same day we will also see Shah Rukh Khan’s interview with David Letterman on Netflix.
