Broken But Beautiful 3 actress Salonie Khanna Patel bags her next web show, College Diaries, for which she is currently shooting in Chandigarh
Salonie Khanna Patel had an eventful past two months, starting with her getting married to hubby Viraf Patell on May 6 in an intimate court marriage. After taking this big step in her personal life, she followed it with professional success as she was seen in Alt Balaji’s Broken But Beautiful 3, featuring Siddharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee as Agastya and Rumi in the lead. She was seen there as Rumi’s sister Maera.
Last month, she followed it up with a stint in Sunil Grover-starrer Sunflower on Zee 5, and now we have exclusively learnt that the actress is already working on her next web project. A source close to the development informs that Salonie has bagged MX Player’s new show, College Diaries.
“She is currently with the team shooting for the same in Chandigarh, and she has a prominent role in the show. The show will focus on college life and will revolve around five characters, and Salonie is one of them. The shoot of the series will continue till August in Chandigarh only,” reveals the source.
College Diaries is being produced by Yellow Montage and Streamline Production. It will be directed by Prem Mistry, and features Ritvik Sahore in the lead. Recently, actor-comedian and YouTuber Harsh Beniwal also joined the cast of the show. RItvik was recently seen in MX Player’s Indori Ishq while Harsh started his Bollywood journey two years ago in the Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria-starrer Student Of The Year 2, where he played Tiger’s best friend.
