Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is currently garnering accolades for his recently released film Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai. The movie that released on Netflix stars Rohan Mathew and Sayami Kher in the lead. It is written by Nihit Bhave who was a film critic earlier. In an interview with us, Anurag Kashyap confirmed the story that Nihit had texted him at 5 am out of frustration as he was making no progress as a film writer. The filmmaker further also revealed the kind of messages he has received from aspiring writers and more.
Sharing the story of Nihit Bhave, Anurag Kashyap stated that he made him quit his job as a film critic. Anurag believed that one can't do two jobs together, however, for almost two years after Nihit left his job, he made no progress as a film writer. So out of frustration, Nihit messaged Anurag Kashyap at 5 am and asked him to at least let him be on the sets. The filmmaker then hired him and he became an assistant director. Nihit worked with Anurag Kashyap on Sacred Games and now he is the screenwriter for Choked. So basically, texting him at 5 am worked in the favour of Nihit.
Adding on to this, Anurag revealed that a lot of people message him at random hours and all are pretty absurd messages. Explaining further, he narrated one text that read, 'I am also Kashyap, you are also Kashyap, so why don't you reply.' LOL. Netizens and their creativity can never be doubted, isn't it?
Talking about Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai, the film is receiving praises from all corners. Many Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Anubhav Sinha, Vicky Kaushal and many others have given the film a thumbs up.
