Chris Hemsworth starrer Extraction, produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo, was one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. Parts of the film have been shot in India and the action-packed Netflix thriller also stars various Indian actors such as Priyanshu Painyulli, Randeep Hooda, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film was a huge hit and became the biggest ever Netflix original debut which played in 90 million households within the first month of its release. Rudhraksh Jaiswal played the pivotal role of Ovy in the film, and his performance is being praised by one and all. Adding to the long list is Uri star Vicky Kaushal, who absolutely loved Rudhraksh’s work in the film.
Rudhraksh Jaiswal plays Ovy, the kidnapped son of an Indian drug lord, and Chris Hemsworth’s character Tyler Rake is hired by his father to rescue Ovy. Throughout the film, people loved watching the bond develop between Tyler and Ovy, and it was truly endearing. Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who also watched Extraction, was all praise for Rudhraksh’s performance. He took to his social media and wrote, “@rudhrakshjaiswal1 great work in Extraction. Keep shining Rudraksh.”Interestingly, Rudhraksh considers Vicky Kaushal one of his idols and was overwhelmed by the Uri star’s comment praising him.
Rudhraksh spoke to SpotboyE exclusively and said he felt honoured, “I was surprised when I saw Vicky sir's comment, but felt very happy after reading it. He has been one of my idols from the start of my career and I have enjoyed every role that he has portrayed in films as he brings something unique to the character. Being appreciated by him for my performance in Extraction only motivates me to do better work.”
Extraction was a delight for every action fan, full of high-octane scenes paired with riveting performances. Rudhraksh Jaiswal stunned people with his performance and there’s no looking back for the young actor!
