Ghoomketu: Anurag Kashyap Accused Of Plagiarism By A Netizen; Filmmaker Schools Him, ‘Jaanch Padtaal Karke Aarop Lagayein’
Ghoomketu starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Ragini Khanna is making headlines left, right and centre. The movie released on May 22, 2020, after a year of the completion of its shoot. But due to the unfortunate outbreak of COVID-19, the makers decided to release the movie on an OTT platform (Zee5). The movie is directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra. As it’s been almost a week since it’s premiere, a Twitter user has accused the makers of Plagiarism. Yes, you heard that right!

Nazawzuddin Siddiqui starrer is receiving mixed reactions for his stellar performance in the movie. The film didn’t seem to live up to the critic’s expectations but is being loved by Twitterverse. Recently a netizen took to Twitter and accused Ghoomketu of plagiarism. The user wrote that one of the scenes of the film was copied from a tweet by a writer. The writer tagged Anurag Kashyap, Nawazuddin and Amitabh Bachchan (who is seen doing a cameo in the film) and asked them to give credit him the due credits.

The user’s Tweet read, "फिल्ममें को डॉक्टर काफ्रिज से एक्सरे करतेहुए सीन है वोयहां इस ट्वीट मेंसे लिया गया है।" Anurag Kashyap gave a befitting reply and schooled him for the allegations. “

Meanwhile, it’s not only Big B but actors like Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha among others too have a cameo in Ghoomektu.

Nawazuddin was last seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Athiya Shetty but the movie did not live up to the expectations at the box-office. Now, Nawaz is all geared up for his upcoming releases like Bole Chudiyan, Phobia 2, Farzi, The Music Teacher, The Maya Tape, Roam Roam Mein and Raat Akeli Hai among others.
