OTT platform Amazon Prime Videos is in a full swing making our quarantine period entertaining. The platform is not leaving any stone unturned in order to keep their subscribers glued to their screen and miles away from boredom. From getting the classics back such as Mr. Bean to uncovering from unknown facts with their array of documentaries, they are at it! Along with some new ones and old classics, the platform is treating us with the second season of the most loved series, Homecoming.
OTT platform has dropped the teaser of the show thus driving the audiences crazy. The teaser has actress Janelle Monae stepping into the lead character’s role in the following season. Taking the story ahead in the followed-up season, the promo leaves us on the hook with Janelle simply being clueless about her location. The promo opens with Janelle waking up in a rowboat, followed by screaming for help. What follows next in the teaser is a lot of mystery being building at a lightning-fast speed.
Teaser has glimpses of the pivotal characters, just spiking the interest among the viewers. Amazon Prime Video shared this teaser on their official Instagram account with the caption, “Janelle Monáe stars in Homecoming. A new mystery is coming May 22.”
From the first season, we shall see Stephan James in the role of Walter Cruz and Hong Chau playing Audrey Temple. Besides them, the new addition to the show includes, Chris Cooper portraying Leonard Geist and Joan Cusack playing Francine Bunda. The second season will be premiered on May 22 on the OTT platform.
