Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar was awarded the Femina Miss India title in 1993 and has done some notable roles in Sanjay Dutt's Vaastav, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Bride And Prejudice, Anil Kapoor's Pukar and more. But there was a time when Namrata made a rising star nervous that made him forget his lines. Well, the rising star in question is Jitendra Joshi. Recently, while exclusively speaking with SpotboyE during the Just Binge Session, Jitendra Joshi who essayed the role of Katekar in Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Sacred Games went down the memory and recalled the time when he shot a scene with Namrata Shirodkar which made him forget his dialogues.
Jitendra spoke about his experience of facing the camera for the first time. Recalling the time, Jitendra said that while he was doing theatres, actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar had come to watch his act. He was then offered a role in Praan Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye and there he came to he has a scene with the actress which made him dumbfound. He said, "Jab mein waha gaya toh pata chala ki Namrata Shirodkar ke saath scene hai. Apna toh bolti hi bandh hogaya, matlab mein Namrat Shirodkar ko dekhu ya kaam karu." (laughs) He then said that he also has a scene with her where Joshi and Namrata had to converse on the bed. As he was nervous with the scene, Joshi recalled that Namrata was very sweet to him and was trying to make him comfortable.
He further added, "Waise Namrata ke aankhon me dekhke sab bhul gaye, pura gul, nil hogaya, matlab alt delete ka button tha unki aankhon me." He later said that he will never forget that first scene, the experience and her (Namrata) eyes. Meanwhile, Namrata is happily married to South superstar Mahesh Babu and have two beautiful kids.
