Kaagaz: Pankaj Tripathi Narrates A Story Of A Man Declared Dead On Government Papers; Salman Khan Promotes This Intriguing Story– WATCH
After wowing the audience with Mirzapur 2, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Ludo this year, the actor is all set to impress everyone yet again with his impeccable acting chops in the upcoming film, Kaagaz which will be releasing next year. The film is produced by Salman Khan's mother Salma Khan and is bankrolled by the actor's production house, Salman Khan Films. As the film has a huge contribution from the Dabangg 3 actor, he recently took to his Twitter handle to share the first trailer of the film while promoting the same.
 
He even mentioned that the satirical comedy will be premiering on Zee 5 as well as in the selected theatres in Uttar Pradesh. Sharing the trailer, he tweeted, "Yeh hai humaare Bharat Lal Mritak, jisse puri duniya puch rahi hai - #ProofHaiKya ki tum zinda ho? A true story of a man who was declared dead on #Kaagaz. Premiering 7th January 2021 on @ZEE5Premium and simultaneously in selected theatres in UP." Talking about Kaagaz, the story revolves around a common man, played by Pankaj Tripathi, who is declared dead as per the government records. The film showcases the journey of the man who struggles to prove his existence. 
 
Talking about the film, Pankaj shared with HT, “Kaagaz is a brilliantly written true story. It is quirky, black comedy and depicts a common man’s humorous journey on identity crisis. My character will be quite different from some of my recent ventures and I am excited to be a part of such an inspiring story. This story needs to be heard and I am definite that ZEE5 will give it the reach that it deserves.”
