Kajol’s The Trail co-star Alyy Khan opened up about sharing her first on-screen kiss with the actress for the web-series
Bollywood actress Kajol is one of the most bankable actors in the entertainment industry. She recently made her much-awaited OTT debut with the indian adaptation of The Good Wife, The Trial. While she has romanced many celebrities in her entire career, the actress shared a lip-lock with her co-star Alyy Khan in the web-series for the first time. In a recent interview, the actor has now opened up about his experience of shooting the scene.
According to The Times Of India, Alyy in an interview shared that they shot the scene at a posh hotel. The director had asked them if they were comfortable shooting the scene in front of the crew or they wanted a closed set. He explained that a close set only consists of important people being present during the shoot. Further in the interview, the 54-year-old actor added that Kajol and he practised the kiss a couple of times before they did the take. As they finished shooting for it, they walked over to the monitor to watch it, asked each other if they were happy with it and then moved on. Well it is safe to say that the kiss has become a trending topic on social media and netizens can’t help but shower her with praises for taking such a bold step. Talking about the web-series, their characters are shown as college sweethearts, who break up. Kajol’s character goes on to marry Jisshu Sengupta’s character, who gets caught in a criminal case. It is when she decides to fight her husband’s case, she meets Alyy’s character who still has feelings for her. As they grow closer, sparks fly between them which leads to them sharing a kiss.
On the work front, last seen in Lust Stories 2, Kajol is currently seen in The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha. She will be collaborating with her Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon, for her maiden production Do Patti. The suspense thriller will be released on Netflix and will be based in the mesmerising hills of North India. She also has an untitled project with Dharma Productions, co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
